Work is crazy and rewarding right now. I’m struggling with feeling like I need rewards for maintaining my focus for long stretches. And work offers those rewards, in terms of free food. Today, I had 2 dried dates, maybe 6 chocolate covered almonds, a dark chocolate square, and half a pita with hummus. In an office with free rice crispy squares, chocolate covered cookies, cereal and milk, etc, this isn’t terrible, but it’s definitely not the most satisfying for my carb grams.

I have a mixed up relationship with praise. It stresses me out because I worry I’m not living up to it. I’m grateful to those who give it, but I don’t quite know what to do with it.
