This week’s farmer’s market haul, which came in under $45:

2 flats flax-fed free-run eggs

2 smoked pork chops

Hungarian bacon (a hunk of smoked bacon coated in paprika)

1 head broccoli

2 bunches basil

1 bag garlic scapes

1 giant head romaine

plain whole goat milk yogurt

In hindsight, I wish I’d bought more broccoli – I roasted it in coconut oil and ate it all in a day. I made pesto with the basil and froze 2/3 of it.
