I attended 2 birthday parties on the weekend and indulged myself. Carrot cake, spanakopita, french fries, breaded chicken, meatballs in barbecue sauce, wine and beer – lots of high carbohydrate foods. Yesterday, I mostly returned to my normal eating, but my appetite was really high. I had some mild indigestion in the afternoon and took apple cider vinegar for it.

This morning, I woke up with cramps in my lower abdomen. I don’t know for sure it was digestive, but the unaccustomed foods probably didn’t help. It went away after I took some¬†ibuprofen.

I have plans tonight so fasting all day isn’t an option, but I’ve started out my day with water, MCT oil, apple cider vinegar, psyllium, and tea. (I took the MCT oil because it sometimes has a laxative effect.)
