Last night, I was at a party where I ate a shortbread cookie, a shortbread tart filled with marmalade, 3 glasses of dry white wine, and a couple Doritos. I felt pretty yucky afterward, so I decided to try a short fast today. Between midnight last night and 1 p.m. today, I only had coffee with coconut milk. I curled for 2 hours and, if anything, I was less hungry than I am after eating my normal egg-y breakfast.
It’s nice to have the option to fast on Sundays. Next time, I’ll try to start earlier in the evening for an 18 hour fast.
I broke my fast with a couple bowls of sausage-tofu noodle soup. Yum!
