I’ve been drinking a bunch of different types of iced tea lately. I misplaced my stevia for a while so I started using Hermesetas (saccharine). I find that 1/4 tsp stevia or 15 Hermesetas tablets sweeten 2 L of tea well.

For 2 L of tea, I use sweetener, 2 tsp. citric acid, and one of these:

  • 2 Tbsp green tea
  • 4 Tbsp hibiscus + 1 Tbsp black tea (this makes brilliantly red tea)
  • 3 apple spice tea bags + 1 tsp dried ginger, 1″ fresh ginger, or 1 ginger tea bag
  • 2 Tbsp rooibos
  • 3 Tbsp lemongrass mate
  • 2 Tbsp dried mint leaves

I make the tea in 2 L wide-mouth mason jars.
