Based loosely on this recipe. This was simple to make and tastes great.

2 Tbsp olive oil
2 hot Italian sausages, casings removed and broken into small pieces
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
300 g frozen sliced okra
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, including the juice
salt and black pepper

In a heavy bottomed saute pan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and sausage. Cook until the sausage is lightly browned. Add the onion and garlic and saute until the onion is tender, about 3 minutes.

Add the okra and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.
