The Vietnamese market near me had seaweed snacks on sale – 20 5g packages for $9. It was interesting because instead of flavours there was a choice of oils – just olive oil, a mixture of olive and corn oil (advertised as olive oil), sunflower seed oil, or grapeseed oil. I picked up the olive oil seaweed snacks. I calculated it out, and 74% of their calories are from fat, which is pretty good for low carb. The downside is that they’re massively overpackaged, but I’ve never seen seaweed snacks that aren’t.
