I made tuna casserole tonight. My changes: I mixed the cream into the celery and mushrooms to warm it then stirred in 2/3 of the cheese, reserving the rest for the top of the casserole. I skipped the onion powder and dry diced onion and added a bunch of cilantro, chopped. I also used rehydrated dried shiitake mushrooms instead of canned – I don’t really recommend this substitution, I’m just low on ingredients. Anyway, it turned out very well even though I made a mess of the recipe.
