I tried my first low carb doughnut, a vanilla doughnut with vanilla cream. It was so-so – it didn’t taste particularly like a donut to me, but it was a tasty dessert. I liked how the filling tasted a bit salty. I was glad to have it since it meant I didn’t eat one of the cakes I’d bought for my grandma. She also had some no sugar added iced cream in the freezer, so I had some of that as well.
