After watching this video, I was curious about whether insufficient sodium might be a reason I crash after sweaty house work or hikes. I don’t bother trying to capture the salt I put on food or the salt to taste I use in recipes, so what I record in My Fitness Pal underestimates my sodium consumption. My records there show around 4 g of sodium per day, so including added salt I’m probably doing OK. I did eat 10 olives tonight (about 1 g sodium) just to be sure 🙂

(I have always had low-normal blood pressure, so I definitely don’t limit sodium.)
