The restaurant where I ate lunch was a pretty good one, low carb-wise. Entrees come with a choice of two of: French fries, coleslaw, baked skillet beans, veggies, mashed potatoes, rice or baked potato. Of course, I got veggies and coleslaw. I know that coleslaw typically contains a bit of sugar, but this was a creamy coleslaw and didn’t taste sweet, so I still think it was a fairly good choice. The veggies were sauteed zucchini and yellow summer squash. (The rest of my meal was a hamburger steak with gravy and fried onions.)

I was out for lunch after a 2 hour hike, so it was well earned 🙂
