Not too surprisingly, I struggled a bit with eating low carb on vacation. I had a couple of excellent low carb meals – a salad with cheese and prosciutto; an omlette with steak, cheese, avocado, and sour cream; a taco salad where I didn’t eat the shell. But shared food was challenging – I had some fries, some breadsticks, some breaded veal parmigana, some bean dip, some pizza, etc. And, of course, I had a couple glasses of wine and a beer. I feel really heavy, but I haven’t stepped on the scale yet so I don’t know what the damage is.
