Frittata lorraine

Oddly, this tasted a bit too sweet to me. (Oddly since it was a regular cooking onion.) It’s pretty good anyway.

2 Tbsp. butter 

1 cooking onion, sliced

6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

5 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

salt and pepper

1 cup grated swiss cheese

Cook the onion in the butter in an oven-safe frying pan until it’s soft and slightly golden. Add the bacon.

Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the cream and season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 350.

Pour the egg mixture over the cooked onions. Sprinkle the cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned.
