I tossed romaine with caesar salad dressing then topped it with pieces of cooked bacon and quail eggs fried in butter. I fried 10 quail eggs based on the nutritional information which suggested that 5 quail eggs was nutritionally similar to 1 chicken egg. I feel very full.

(Keeping a small flock of hens is illegal where I live but keeping a flock of quail is not, so I’m trying quail eggs to see whether keeping quail might be worth it to me.)

Next, I’m thinking I’ll make quail egg mayo. Apparently quail eggs are less prone to being contaminated salmonella than chicken eggs.
