I’m trying to get back in to tracking my food to hopefully start losing weight again. Today I chose to have a Vietnamese sub (banh mi) with sardines and tomato sauce, which was definitely an indulgence, carb-wise. It was my first banh mi since I started eating low carb in April 2013, so I’m OK with it. (Vegetarian banh mi used to be a fairly regular meal for me – it’s inexpensive, delicious, and close to home and work.) Using fatsecret’s nutritional info for banh mi, I’m at 85 net carbs so far today. (Before dinner.) My stated goal is under 100, which is still possible, although I think I might start aiming for under 80 to have a better chance of losing weight. (Tomorrow.)
