I went to Tim Horton’s expecting to order an egg salad sandwich, no bun, extra lettuce but egg salad has been discontinued. I got chicken salad instead – it was very salty, but OK. The computer doesn’t support sending “no bun extra lettuce” so the lady who took my order walked over to tell the woman making the sandwiches, but it was quick and hassle-free. It’s a good option to have.

Subtracting the carbs and fiber in a bun from the nutritional info that includes the bun, the chicken salad and default vegetables have 5 g carbs including 1 g fiber. (My meal also had 4 g of carbs for the 2 cream in my medium coffee.) Interesting that almost half the sodium in the sandwich is in the bun given how salty the chicken was.
