Bacon beans with tomatoes

5 slices bacon

1 pint yellow snap beans (green beans would be equally good)

salt and pepper

1/2 pint grape tomatoes

lemon juice

Cook the bacon until it’s as crisp as you’d like. Set it aside. My bacon is pretty lean so there was maybe a tablespoon of fat left in the pan – if there’s much more, you might want to drain some. Add the yellow snap beans. Cook until they’re browned and as tender as you’d like. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes and cook just until they’re heated through. Remove to a bowl and add lemon juice to taste. Eat.
