It is a bit strange giving up on the rules that I used to try to fool my body into accepting fewer calories than it needed, especially don’t drink your calories. (I have my heavy cream in a jar in the work fridge. Mostly I just add a glug to coffee, but if I’m actually hungry I make a “latte” with heavy cream instead of milk. The link shows the blog where I got the idea.)

Tonight’s dinner will be Cream of Peanut Soup. (Omit the flour. Use “just peanuts” natural peanut butter. Don’t bother straining out the vegetables. Use heavy cream instead of light cream. Use Better Than Bouillon mushroom instead of chicken broth. Add some black pepper.)
